Market Samurai: Behind the scenes

by Nic

In the internet marketing world, deals are done at dinner, at clubs, and in-between conference presentations.  At a recent event, I was privileged to witness such an interaction taking place.

First, there were the guys from Market Samurai.  For those of you who don’t actually know what Market Samurai is (and are therefore dangerously close to being out of touch :-) ) it is a workflow program for keyword research.  It is not, however, your everyday keyword research tool.

I was first made aware of this software by James Schramko.  He is the most ideal user of this software because he uses it to it’s full extent (and he told me that he made early versions crash because he worked it so hard!).  Anyway, for those of you who don’t actually know who James Schramko is (and are therefore dangerously close to being out of touch :-) ), James is one of Australia’s most successful internet affiliate marketers.

So, when James was at this event also, I saw a great opportunity to forge some friendships.  We went out to dinner and I just sat back and watched it all unfold.

On one side of the table you had two of the Market Samurai guys (Ben and Eugene) and on the other side was James – the ultimate user of the software.  The discussion soon had my head spinning as the three of them brainstormed strategy and use of the software.  It was great to watch and learn.  These guys kept the ideas flowing and James is now officially promoting Market Samurai.

As one of the presenters at this event said from the stage, “If you’re not using Market Samurai, you’re insane“. So, check it out.

It was great to meet you in San Diego, Nic.

In fact, you were the first person I met there, getting dragged along on my adventure to Longs Pharmacy!

Brent
